The Airbus A330 is a wide-body aircraft developed and produced by Airbus. Airbus conceived several derivatives of the A300, its first airliner in the mid-1970s. Then the company began development on the A330 twinjet in parallel with the A340 quadjet and launched both designs with their first orders in June 1987. The A330-300, the first variant, took its maiden flight in November 1992 and entered service with Air Inter in January 1994. The slightly shorter A330-200 variant followed in 1998.
More than 1500 A330s were built as of April 2022.
Our tags come from Gulf Air's A330-200 A9C-KB which was delivered to the airline as A4O-KB in 1999 under MSN 281. The aircraft was scrapped in 2019. But before, it had the honor to promote the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix for several years with its special livery.
Our tags are HAND made from retired and certified aircraft fuselage. knowing this, each tag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical tags. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.
