The new 9wingspirit skin tags release ! Limited to 39 Hand made "Garage Tags".
The Sukhoi Su-22 is a variable-sweep wing fighter-bomber developed from the Su-7 and Su-17. It enjoyed a long career in Soviet, later Russian service and was widely exported to Eastern Bloc, Middle Eastern air forces and Latin America as well as the Su-20.
With a maiden flight in January 1975, the production ended in 1990 after 1020 aircraft. Since then, the type has been in use with more than 15 air forces.
A total of 110 Su-22 were delivered to Poland from 1984 until 1988 (83 Su-22M-4K, 20 Su-22UM-3K, 7 Su-22M-4R).
Poland is meanwhile the last European "Fitter" operator. The Polish fleet is undergoing an upgrade program since February 2015 which will extend the useful life until the mid 2020s.
Our tags are made out of a main landing gear door from a Polish Air Force "Fitter".

Disclaimer :
Our tags are HAND made from retired and certified aircraft fuselage. knowing this, each tag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical tags. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular tag.
Ordered this tag on a whim because I liked the look and wanted a Sukhoi tag. Little did I know it would include a fantastic display that includes a story and background on the tag. But these are just standard to this exclusive and limited tag, I was most fortunate to receive #22 of 39 tags. Simply unbeatable for this release and price. I can safely say the story of this tag is now complete. From being assembled in the Soviet Union, being received and used in Poland, being cut in France and now residing in America, this tag has some miles on it! I am most pleased with every aspect of my purchase.
